Ritz crackers nationwide due to salmonella

There have been not been any reported illnesses in connection to the products.

Mondelez said the supplier of whey powder for its crackers recalled the ingredients due to the potential presence of the bacteria.

Various Ritz Cracker and Ritz Bits products that contain cheese are being voluntarily recalled throughout the United States over concerns about possible Salmonella contamination.

If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.

The recall was issued Saturday.

No one has yet to file a report of illness to Mondelēz Global.
