AC Milan complete loan signing of Gonzalo Higuain with option to buy

AC Milan have announced the signing of Juventus and Argentina worldwide Gonzalo Higuain on a season-long loan, with an option to buy.

Before joining AC Milan for €40m in a shock move previous year, Bonucci spent seven seasons at Juventus, helping them win six successive Serie A titles.

But the big news is that Gonzola Higuain will be a Milan player next season, whilst Juve will get a club legend in Leonardo Bonucci back.

"A statement from Milan read", AC Milan announces that it has acquired from Juventus FC the right to the sports performances of the players Gonzalo Higuain and Mattia Caldara.

The 30 year old is now set to join AC Milan and will be hoping to help change their fortunes after a disappointing year which saw them finish sixth in the Serie A.

He played alongside Bonucci as the Bianconeri won a sixth straight Serie A title thanks in part to Higuain's 24 goals.

Seventeen-year-old Vancouver Whitecaps starlet Alphonso Davies signed for Bayern Munich last week in a deal worth €18.75m including add-ons.

Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain has agreed to join AC Milan on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy next summer for £32m.

How could Chelsea line up after the transfer window ends?

Both Higuain and Caldara underwent medicals in Milan on Thursday prior to the announcement, with the club publicising the pair's arrival in the city. He told reporters: "It's great to see so many fans, but I also want to send greetings to those of Juventus who have given me so much affection".

"I love Sarri's philosophy".

"I am not in charge of the transfer market, that is up to the club".
