There are cameos from NOLA bounce queen Big Freedia and the City Girls, and the end credits feature clips from viral #InMyFeelings challenge videos.
Drake finally accepted the In My Feelings dance challenge when he dropped the song's music video on Thursday.
La La Anthony plays Drake's love interest and Phylicia Rashad is her mom.
The music video sees Drake acting out parts of the famous dance sequence himself, which characteristically includes a number of perfectly timed moves performed alongside a moving auto, and pursuing a romance with his love interest Keke, played by Power actress La La Anthony. It was filmed down in New Orleans by director Karena Evans, who helmed Drizzy's previous visuals for "Nice For What", "God's Plan", and the Degrassi-themed "I'm Upset".
Shiggy then pops up again, playing a studio assistant doing his best to get Drake to the set. I just had a dream that I made some song about some girl that was from New Orleans.
Towards the end of the visual, the five-time United Kingdom chart-topper awakes from a dream in his trailer, and references the dance craze: "I had this dream that I made this song, and then this kid from NY did some dance to it. and then the world did the dance".
