Winker said he understands the frustration about the lack of information being released to the public about the case, "We are constantly evaluating what information we should release and what we shouldn't. You would do anything to get her back and you would just be desperate for anything to come forward to get her back", he added.
Calderwood said she feels her daughter's presence every day.
"If someone out there is holding Mollie, and they're in over their head and they've made a frightful mistake, you can end it now before it goes any further", Rob Tibbetts told The Des Moines Register.
However, it was later revealed that authorities had ruled that sighting out and say the woman in the truck stop was not Mollie Tibbetts. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has said that Tibbetts was last seen jogging in her nearby hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa.
Police are probing a possible break in the case of missing Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts.
Thursday afternoon the focus of the search was on an area of Poweshiek County just off Highway 21. He would not say whether investigators have any suspects or persons of interest.

"We really need someone to come forward now", her father told The Register. "We are hopeful that she is still alive and so we will continue to think that way until told otherwise", Rahn told ABC News last week.

In partnership with the Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa, the family set up the "Bring Mollie Tibbetts home safe reward fund" for any information, which can be given anonymously, for the University of Iowa student's safe return.
The mother of Mollie Tibbetts believes her daughter may have been abducted on July 18 and begged her possible kidnappers to let her go. "I don't know that I have the strength in me, and Mollie's lending me her strength".
In the meantime, Jack told ABC News he's "just taking it day by day".
