YouTuber 'McSkillet' and two others killed after wrong side motorway crash

Commuters in San Diego, California were shocked to see a 2015 McLaren 650S speeding over 100 miles per hour in the wrong direction of the carpool lane at approximately 4:30 PM.

Trevor Heitmann, best known as OG McSkillet, has been identified as the driver of the McLaren 650S sports vehicle that ploughed into Aileen Pizarro, 43, and her daughter Aryana's Hyundai SUV. Another driver was injured, but is expected to survive, according to police reports.

Eighteen-year-old Heitmann made a fortune selling digital "skins" which are used to change the appearance of guns and knives in the video game Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).

Heitmann's YouTube account has more than 877,000 subscribers.

His 2015 British McLaren 650S, which costs around $250,000, "could have been going over 100 mph" when it "disintegrated" on impact with the SUV, says a CHP officer. He later used the auto in the accident that killed himself and two others. Officer Jake Sanchez, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol, said he believes that Trevor's auto smashed through a gate at an elementary school earlier on the same day of the crash before also breaking a school window. "And then at the same time I would have a minute of clarity and I would sit back and say I'm so happy that both went, not one, not the other, not a coma or anything that would have been so hard for them to handle". In June this year, Heitmann received a trade ban from Valve, freezing a Steam inventory that other YouTube skin traders estimated to be worth approximately $100,000.

Trevor "McSkillet" Heitmann posted video of his 2014 McLaren sports vehicle in December. In that time, he uploaded 470 videos, some of which gained millions of views.

Many followers believe that this could have triggered his actions. The last video that he put up was 5 months ago. The names of the victims have not been officially released, but are named in the GoFundMe as Aileen and Aryana. The McLaren can be seen charred and destroyed in news footage, apparently engulfing in flames as a result of the impact.
