United States rapper Mac Miller dead at 26

Celebrities took to Twitter to express their condolences Friday after reports that Pittsburgh native rapper Mac Miller died of an apparent overdose. A male friend reported it to authorities by placing a 911 call from Mac's home.

Reports state that he was found Friday afternoon at his home in the San Fernando Valley.

The address is listed as a residence for Malcolm McCormick, known by his stage name Mac Miller, who's behind the hits "Self Care" and "Programs".

He was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene.

The 26-year-old had a two-year relationship with singer Ariana Grande.

A rep for Miller did not immediately return a request for comment. Throughout his prolific career he collaborated with Anderson.Paak, Ty Dolla Sign, Ariana Grande, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Kendrick Lamar, and many more. "I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be".

Miller was supposed to start a tour next month. His first studio album, "Blue Slide Park", was released in 2011.
