NFL Ratings: How Low Can They Go?

Last February during his stint behind bars on a probation violation, Meek reacted to the Eagles defeating the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. That was after an extra chance for Atlanta after Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks was called for illegal contact on fourth-and-goal from the 10.
It was a tough evening for the Falcons, who lost 18-12 to the Eagles, with the game coming down to the final play.
A 45-minute weather delay and a sloppily contested, low-scoring game conspired to put a dent in the ratings for the first official National Football League broadcast of the 2018-19 season, as the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night served up the smallest audience for a curtain-raiser in a decade. Without Alshon Jeffery to stretch the field, who had been ruled out due to injury, Foles was forced to make short yardage passes as the Falcons zone marked well.
"I mean, it's a good play", Foles told reporters on Thursday.
The pass from wide receiver Nelson Agholor came on a third-and-5 from the Falcons' 41-yard line and resulted in a 15-yard gain.
"I went over there and talked to him and said, 'This might be a good time, '" Foles said of head coach Doug Pederson. And I think when we get those changes again, we're going to come up with those plays.
On a hot, muggy night, it looked more like an August preseason game than a playoff rematch.
"Us executing that play at the end, we've got to nail that", Quinn said.
"Offensively, we were sort of misfiring a little bit", Pederson said. But I want them to know that one game isn't going to define how we're going to play down there.
"It's great to have it at the right time if you can catch a team (off guard)", Foles said.
