Tom Arnold Claims Mark Burnett Attacked Him At Emmys Party

Arnold said he contacted the Los Angeles Police Department about the incident.

Burnett has remained quiet about the incident, but about an hour after Arnold tweeted, Burnett's wife, actress Roma Downey, posted a photo of her hand and said that Arnold "ambushed" them.

"Mark Burnett just went apeshit & choked me at this huge Emmy party", Arnold wrote on Twitter. "I'm waiting for LAPD", claimed Arnold via Twitter, adding that he's going to sue Downey for defamation. "That bruise is from her last tv show", Mr. Arnold told us. Arnold replied to her tweet, writing, "Bulls-t". You lie your insane husband attacked me you psycho.

Arnold and Burnett were involved in a brief physical altercation on Sunday night as both entered the Evening Before party in Century City, the glitzy annual fundraiser for the Motion Picture Television Fund. Actor Patton Oswalt later took a photo with Arnold, writing, "He's okay. He's okay. We gotta protect this brutal angel", he wrote. Arnold was previously a Celebrity Apprentice contestant and Trump ally, and claims there are tapes of Trump acting offensively on set, and using the N-word.

Arnold is the host of Viceland's series The Hunt for the Trump Tapes, where he will ostensibly search for damning footage from President Trump's past.

Some have speculated the fight was a publicity stunt.

Tom Arnold is under Mark Burnett's skin. Arnold claimed the former "Apprentice" producer choked him at a party on Sunday, September 16.

Arnold also alleged that there is video of the altercation. Time will tell whether Arnold found anything substantive on any tapes, and furthermore, whether said tapes will make a difference on anyone's opinion of Trump.

".@MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a awful and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa". "I don't have that word in my vocabulary, and never have".

A rep for Burnett did not return Fox News' request for comment.
