Weather: Up to 30 mm rain forecast through Wednesday

Don't plan on rain from the start to the finish.

The weather service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Rhode Island, northern CT, and all of MA east of Berkshire County because the rain will be heavy at times on Tuesday, which could result in minor street and highway flooding. Temperatures will cool by a few degrees Wednesday and Thursday with overnight lows reaching the 60s Thursday and Friday mornings.

The risk of rain drops to 30 per cent Saturday with a high of 16 C and low of 4 C.

A cold front is still expected to move through Tuesday evening with cooler temperatures by daybreak Tuesday.

Clouds will begin to increase late this afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches from the west. Showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop after midnight in western Wisconsin, and push across the state. Skies will remain mostly clear with light winds out of the southeast around 5 to 10 miles per hour.

In the terms of severe weather, the Storm Prediction Center has placed us under a slight risk for damaging winds, larger hail and heavy rainfall with localized flooding. "Another chance will occur late Wednesday afternoon and early Wednesday night.mainly across interior southern New England". More widespread showers are possible with high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. We're forecasting better odds for seeing that bright ball in the sky this upcoming weekend. That's when our weather will be most active.
