Trump Calls Kavanaugh’s Second Accuser A 'Drunk, Messed Up' Woman

Members of conservative activist group Concerned Women For America and students from Virginia Christian college Liberty University will assemble on Capitol Hill for the "I Stand With Brett" rally, which will include a bus emblazoned with the phrase "Women for Kavanaugh", USA Today reports.

As with the allegations by two previous accusers, the latest incidents are alleged to have occurred decades ago.

Avenatti on Tuesday tweeted a "sworn declaration" from a woman named Julie Swetnick who claimed the Supreme Court nominee was involved in "gang" rapes in the early 1980s.

Avenatti, the lawyer also representing adult film star Stormy Daniels who is suing President Donald Trump, said on CNN's "Cuomo Prime Time" that he has multiple clients and "at least one" is prepared to come forward publicly within the next 48 hours. A roll call presumably would follow next week by the full Senate, where Republicans hold a scant 51-49 majority.

"The Democrats are working hard to destroy a wonderful man, and a man who has the potential to be one of our greatest Supreme Court Justices ever, with an array of False Accusations the likes of which have never been seen before!"

Avenatti is exploring a 2020 presidential bid as a Democrat while Republican Donald Trump's reelection campaign has already begun.

Kavanaugh, she claims, exhibited a pattern of "abusive and physically aggressive behavior toward girls", and she names "Beach Week" in Ocean City, Maryland as one of these occasions where she witnessed such behavior. In the transcripts, Kavanaugh denies the allegations, which were made anonymously and without corroboration.

In a statement, Mr Kavanaugh said: "This is ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone". But they do appear to reference Mark Judge, who Ford has said was in the room while Kavanaugh attempted to force himself on her.

Trump spoke to reporters at the United Nations as his embattled nominee faces accusations of sexual misconduct Kavanaugh emphatically denies. While another boy watched, she says, Kavanaugh tried to pull her clothes off and covered her mouth when she tried to scream. "She admits she was drunk", said Trump. Sometimes I had too many. "I am innocent of this charge", Kavanaugh said.

He also provided the committee with detailed calendar pages listing in green-and-white squares the activities that filled his summer of 1982 when he was 17 years old - exams, movies, sports and plenty of parties. Before Trump nominated Kavanaugh in July, Ford and Koegler had an email exchange in which she said she had been referring to Kavanaugh, Koegler said.

The May through August pages mention several parties at various houses and also a beach week, highlighted in all caps, the week after Kavanaugh's exams. President Donald Trump, who is in NY attending the annual UN General Assembly session, came out in support of his Supreme Court nominee and slammed Avenatti.

"They announced that there were notes and there had been a lie detector test, but as I understand it, they did not turn any of those over to the Senate committee, even though they were requested". "So I feel that if a woman is taking the time to talk about something that happened to her that we should be able to respect her and give her the time and investigate".

"It's a con game they're playing", he said.

"Our goal is to just get support for him".

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer called on Kavanaugh to withdraw in light of the allegations, and said if he does not, an FBI investigation is needed before any Senate vote on confirmation. It is time for Judge Kavanaugh's nomination to be immediately withdrawn.

Lawyers for Kavanaugh sent five pages from the calendar to the Senate Judiciary Committee late Tuesday, notifying them they meant to use the pages to prove Kavanaugh wasn't at a 1982 house party where Christine Blasey Ford alleges Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed, groped her, tried to remove her clothes and put his hand over her mouth.
