Gwyneth Paltrow confirms she has married Brad Falchuk with ring snap

"It was gorgeous - the most handsome wedding I've ever seen", Paltrow's mother, Blythe Danner, told photographers on Sunday, according to People.

The pair held a rehearsal dinner on Friday night at Jerry Seinfeld's Hamptons house, and it's unclear if the host regaled his guests with any "what is the deal with weddings?" jokes, but like, you'd think he'd pretty much be obliged to do that, right?

Also on hand were Cameron Diaz, on whom the Shakespeare In Love Oscar victor is said to have relied on for tips and advice while planning her big day, and Gwyneth's Iron Man co-star Robert Downey Jr.

On Sunday, she posted a photo on Instagram of two hands - presumably belonging to her and Falchuk - with simple bands on the ring fingers.

US actress Gwyneth Paltrow poses at the British Fashion Awards in London December 2, 2013.

Back April, Falchuk's good friend and business partner Ryan Murphy threw the couple a star-studded engagement party in Los Angeles.

"They have been planning this wedding all year", the source revealed, adding that the actress has "worked incredibly hard to keep their wedding a secret".

According to Entertainment Tonight, she had been planning her nuptials all year and also included her children Apple and Moses Martin in the process. "They were toasting Gwyneth and sharing lots of laughs", another source told Us Weekly.

The newlyweds first met in 2010 on the set of "Glee", which Falchuk co-created and on which Paltrow guest starred.

Former husband Chris Martin, the father of Paltrow's children Apple and Moses, did not attend as he was the Global Citizen ceremony in NY.

Falchuk has two kids from his 10-year marriage to Suzanne Bukinik, which ended in 2013.

"It was gorgeous-the most handsome wedding I've ever seen", Gwyneth's mother, Blythe Danner, who walked her down the aisle, said of the event.

Paltrow previously opened up to PEOPLE magazine about her big day, saying she was excited to plan her wedding.
