Chelsea star gives inside track on situation surrounding Eden Hazard

Maurizio Sarri thinks Hazard is capable of scoring 40 goals this term, and Chelsea fans are hoping their club can launch a title tilt if Hazard continue to shine in attack.

"We've said that it's not that he wants to leave Chelsea but if Madrid come in for him, that won't be an obstacle". "I don't want to lie, it is my dream since I was a kid".

"I am playing good football at the moment". He had a very serious injury and now he's improving every day.

The 27-year-old is enjoying the strongest start to a season of his six-year Chelsea career and has eight goals across all competitions including seven in the Premier League, making him the division's top goalscorer.

And yet again, it was their star man Eden Hazard who inspired the Blues to a comfortable 0-3 victory.

"If he has said it so clearly, it is true", Morata said on Hazard's desire to play for Real Madrid, per AS.

"Sometimes in my head, I wake up in the morning and think I want to go".

"I don't want that", Hazard said.

Only time will tell what the future holds for Hazard and what his departure would mean for us.

He added: "It has been difficult to get into the team, and when we get the good results that we now do, it will only be even harder".

But the fact that Hughes handed him a start against Chelsea suggests that he could still have a role to play for a Saints side struggling badly for goals.

The Belgian attacker feels he is in the form of his life for club and country, having helped Belgium finish third at this summer's World Cup finals.

"I feel like I have matured as a person, understood what football is and taken little details on as I have done under the manager [Sarri]". The Belgian now leads the way in the Premier League top goalscorers table with six, and Southampton will have find a way to nullify him if they're to come away with anything. Eden is a winger, a pure winger, so I don't think it's possible for Eden to be top scorer in the league.
