Chelsea fans set to unveil new banner for Hazard in EPL

Hazard has established himself as the key man at Stamford Bridge, and the Belgium worldwide has already contributed seven goals and three assists in eight Premier League outings this season.

Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent months, with the reigning Champions League winners understood to have established an interest in signing the Belgian worldwide.

With Real Madrid said to be after Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, the London club's chairman has now spoken about the Belgian's future in England.

It is all presented as part of the appeal of a move to Madrid for Hazard who has less than two years remaining on his Chelsea contract. And although Hazard is very keen on joining the Los Blancos, Chelsea are aware that they need to do all they can to tie him down to Stamford Bridge. The Portuguese superstar left a huge void that needed to be filled, yet, by the end of the European transfer window, the Spanish giants had failed to make their move for Hazard. "I was dreaming about this club".

Ahead of the mammoth clash between Chelsea and Manchester United on Saturday, Merson was asked if the 27-year-old is the best player in the league right now.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has revealed his belief that Eden Hazard CAN win the Ballon D'Or at Stamford Bridge.

"I want what's good for me, but I want what's good for the club because the club has given me everything", he said.

"Leaving or staying, I knew I was going to be happy". I love the fans - I think the fans love me.

"I think also he can win everything, also the Ballon D'Or, here without playing in Spain. You've seen it twice at Chelsea - last season, for instance", continued Merson.
