[Match Highlights] Arsenal 3-1 Leicester City - All The Goals & Best Bits

Mesut Ozil was at his playmaking best as Arsenal stormed back from a goal down to beat Leicester City 3-1 at the Emirates on Monday night.

And Ozil was thrilled to justify being given the armband by Unai Emery with a wonderful individual display that saw Arsenal move up to fourth in the Premier League table after a seventh straight win.

"We are happy because we are progressing".

'I think we need to think about the next match, against Crystal Palace next Sunday, and also in another competition like the Europa League I think is very important for Thursday.

Emery has made a remarkable impact since replacing Wenger in the close-season.

"When you improve your demands are very high. With our quality we can enjoy it, [but] we need to enjoy the work".

The Gunners have a great record against Leicester City in north London, and Arsenal haven't dropped points when faced with the Foxes in their last seven meetings in north London.

A third said: "I love football". They've completely blown Leicester away.

Harry Maguire's towering header forced a good save from Leno and Leicester's pressure reaped a tangible reward in the 31st minute.

Suddenly, Arsenal were driving forward with objective and they drew level on the stroke of half-time.

Ozil swapped passes with Bellerin to equalise before the break and was then instrumental in creating a quickfire brace for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a five-minute spell after the forward's introduction from the bench.

Leicester came within inches of retaking the lead as Leno charged off his line but got nowhere near James Maddison's corner, which Ndini thundered against the crossbar.

But Emery sent on Aubameyang for Lichtsteiner after 61 minutes and it the match-winning switch paid instant dividends two minutes later.

Their goal came from a pacy counter-attack, which resulted in Ben Chilwell's attempt at a low cross being turned in by the boot of Arsenal's Hector Bellerin.
