Prince Harry, Meghan Attend Final Day Of Invictus Games In Sydney

Former England soccer captain David Beckham, who is an Invictus ambassador, also attended the basketball match.

Also at the event was David Beckham and his son, Romeo.

The Duchess of Sussex cheered on her home team which eventually won the event. The expectant mother hid her baby bump in a wine-colored blouse by Australian brand Scanlan Theodore, which she paired with black trousers and heels.

Her barracking paid off - with the US winning 29 to 17.

A Qantas flight carrying the royal couple had to abort a landing attempt in Australia's largest city after a plane on the runway "failed to get out of the way", the Australian Broadcasting Corp. reported, citing Sydney Airport officials.

The royal couple took their time to shake each competitor's hand during the medal presentation and two players from the Netherlands even managed to sneak a kiss on the cheek from the Duchess.

Another memorable Invictus Games ceremony complete, thanks to Harry and Meghan!

During the medal presentation Harry chatted to Guest, who was petting a therapy dog to ease his nerves.

Meghan was speaking at the closing ceremony of the games, which celebrate sporting achievements of injured service personnel.

"Firstly your decision to marry your royal highness, secondly your decision to bring the Invictus Games to Sydney and thirdly your decision to create the Invictus Games to assist servicemen and women", he said to rousing applause, especially on the first point.

While Markle has sat through numerous performances since embarking on the 16-day tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand, this one was the first that saw her moved to tears - of joy and laughter.
