Prince Charles celebrates 70th anniversary

From the arrival of Prince Louis to the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, they've seen more than a few joyous months.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton and Prince William are now visiting South Yorkshire for a series of royal engagements.

The BBC documentary gives an unprecedented look at Prince Charles ahead of his 70th birthday next week.

Prince Charles and Camilla, along with other senior members of the royal family had been pictured making their way through Central London towards Buckingham Palace for the sit down Black Tie dinner. We don't know where they came from - as the ultimate Meghan Markle fashion tracker What Meghan Wore notes, royal reporters who asked about the earrings were told they were on loan, but not from the Queen.

While Prince Charles can be seen in a pinstriped suit, tie and pocket handkerchief, his sons princes William and Harry have kept in sort of casual in suit jackets with no tie.

Snapped by photographer Chris Jackson in the Clarence House garden, the portraits show the A-team - including three future kings - gathered in honor of the big day.

Behind them, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, gleefully smile as Prince Louis rests in his mother's arms.
