That's fantastic news because it eliminates the need to purchase one of the buggy new Pixel 3 handsets. Google is changing that with Night Sight, a Pixel-exclusive feature that will absolutely blow your mind. The single-camera on these devices are doing a much better job than the triple camera smartphones. Since then, a number of users and outlets did actually manage to get a better look at the feature and how it works thanks to an early version of the app that became (unofficially) available. But when you actually shoot a picture, it's not a simple click and you're done.
All images are unedited, though they have been resized slightly to 10-MP to match the Mate 20 Pro's resolution. YouTube content creators and tech bloggers touted Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL of having the best camera to date. But with Night Sight, the Pixel camera is able to intelligently make those dark, grainy, and crappy photos less dark, grainy, and crappy. After you've updated the camera app, you can find the Night Sight mode in the "More" section.
Next, I moved on to a face-off between the Pixel 3 and the Galaxy Note 9; a battle of computer smarts versus a wider f/1.5 lens aided by a touch of AI tuning. Whereas Samsung copes with low-light photography via an adjustable camera aperture, Google takes multiple images for each capture and stacks them. In the dark, you get crisp details without excessive noise. "I had the same thing happening for me with the 2XL, it stayed like that for 3 weeks and went away by itself", said another user. Huawei has had a similar feature called 'Night Mode' first in the P20 Pro and P20 that was launched in March, and then in a lot of their other phones since then. However, Night Light on the Pixel has "near" and "far" focus modes in addition to autofocus.
