‘Once Upon A Deadpool’ Trailer: No Happy Ending For Fred Savage

Thus begins the trailer for Once Upon A Deadpool, the incredibly self-aware PG-13 version of Deadpool 2, coming to theaters for a limited time on December 12. Fred Savage plays himself being read a bedtime story just like his character in 'The Princess Bride'.

A ideal family Christmas present, and might edge the movie's box office beyond the current standing of $734 million and towards the billion dollar mark!

So how do you retain Deadpool's sass while staying within the kids bracket?

Ryan Reynolds has shared the trailer for Once Upon A Deadpool, the PG-13 re-release of Deadpool 2 that's heading our way especially for Christmas.

"Once Upon a Deadpool" hits USA cinemas on December 12th. "You're, you know, Marvel licensed by Fox. It's music, but it sucks!" Now, this one time, I said "Yes" on two conditions.

Savage jokingly added, "While my participation in this film was anything but voluntary, I am happy to learn that Fudge Cancer will be the beneficiary of this shameless cash grab". Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage.

The retooled film will appear in theaters from December 12 to Christmas Eve, and $1 of every ticket will benefit Fudge Cancer, a charity that has changed its name from Fuck Cancer to honor the movie's family-friendly vibe for the 12-day release, Fox noted. For every ticket sold, $1 will go to the charity Fudge Cancer (renamed for the PG-13 release).

The trailer includes some back-and-forth in the iconic bedroom set, along with Savage offering serious shade about Deadpool's bastard-child position in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: "It's like if the Beatles were produced by Nickelback. The second condition took some explaining..."
