Season 3 of the worldwide sci-fi thriller hit is making its Netflix debut on July 4, 2019.
Along with the release date, a new teaser clip and poster were unveiled early on Tuesday, just minutes after the New Year had descended on the United States east coast. There's a teaser trailer you should check out for some classic 80s Dick Clark vibes, mixed with the show's usual Upside Down flavor promising new adventures in Hawkins, IN this summer. "But I can only promise you that season 3 eventually goes places that are darker, and unquestionably more action-packed, than we've ever gone before", Levy said in a previous interview. Check out the teaser and the first poster for the new episodes below!
By watching the aforementioned code, one can make out the following enigmatic message at the 14-second mark: "When blue and yellow meet in the west".
The local Hawkin's IN news footage is sponsored by Starcourt Mall; a newly built and important plot setting for the upcoming season - as previously revealed, one of the episodes will be titles "The Mall Rats", while the finale is titled "The Battle of Starcourt".
