Petition For Saints NFC Championship Rematch Looking For 500,000 Signatures

The Rams and their fans lost some sleep Sunday night - but not about that missed pass interference on Nickell Robey-Coleman that could have altered the outcome of Los Angeles' 26-23 overtime victory in the NFC championship game.

The Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots will face off in this year's Super Bowl after winning the NFC and AFC conference championships, respectively, on Sunday.

The Rams have played in three previous Super Bowls, beating the Tennessee Titans 23-16 in Atlanta in 2000 when they were based in St Louis.

The conference championships are set to take place Sunday, Jan. 20 ahead of February 3's Super Bowl LIII, with the top two teams in each the AFC and NFC conferences going head to head.

Instead, about 1:41 remained when the Saints took their last lead, and the Rams came back to win in overtime.

"I have been in touch with the National Football League regarding yesterday's events and will aggressively pursue changes in National Football League policies to ensure no team and fan base is ever put in a similar position again".

Gurley made it 13-10 at halftime on a 6-yard touchdown run just before the intermission.

Brady has proven in years past that he can beat teams even without a strong running game but if Los Angeles can make things easier on itself on defense if the Rams can somehow make Michel a non-factor. "Just like all the reviews that go up in the booth inside of two minutes".

The Rams weren't able to do much offensively, but it didn't matter. The next day, the headline of the local New Orleans Times-Picayune read "Reffing Unbelievable". Getting to the Super Bowl is incredibly hard to do and takes such an unbelievable commitment from a team and support from its fans. Since then the Rams have made six trips to Georgia's biggest city where they've won twice and have scored 161 total points.

This wouldn't be the first time the competition committee would take up the subject, but there has been plenty of opposition in the past to judgement calls becoming reviewable.
