Winter Weather Advisories expected amid possible freezing rain overnight

It is not certain, but they could develop if the snow consistency gets sticky enough at just the right couple inches of snow on top.

The weather agency says snow should fall Wednesday evening, before becoming mixed with (or change to) freezing rain later in the night.

Tuesday's advisory will be in effect from noon until 6 p.m.as temperatures steadily rise into the low to midde 30s.

Bitter cold weather could bring freezing rain Tuesday night, according to Meteorologist Emily Byrd of the FOX8 MAX Weather Center.

Thursday. Partly sunny with a high near 23. There is a slight chance of flurries on Saturday with mostly cloudy skies however not expecting any accumulation.

The best snow chances continue through Thursday morning before conditions briefly pause.
