Ariana Grande pulls out of Grammys 'over fights with show bosses'

The prestigious music event, kicking off this Sunday (February 10), will be minus one pop star due to a reported disagreement between Grande and the ceremony's producer about which song she could perform, Variety has learned.

Rumor has it that the singer will no longer perform, or even attend the Grammys at all!

Grande reportedly wanted to perform her latest single, "7 Rings", but an insider told Variety they initially balked at that.

The 25-year-old is also nominated for two awards at the ceremony, Best Pop Vocal Performance for "God Is a Woman" and Best Pop Vocal Album for 2018's Sweetener.

However, Grande was then said to have pulled out altogether after producers insisted "the second song be of their choosing".

The pop sensation was apparently left "insulted" after producers of the GRAMMYs wouldn't let her perform her most recent single, "7 rings".

Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Ariana for comment.

The 26-year-old singer has made a decision to pull out of the awards show after she had a disagreement with the producers, a source tells Variety.

Scheduled performers during the Grammys include Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Brandi Carlile, H.E.R., Dan + Shay, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes and Janelle Monáe.

The other Album of the Year contenders - who were all male - were instead offered solo spots performing songs from their nominated LPs.
