Diana Ross Wishes Herself a Happy 75th Birthday

Considered one of the most important events in music history, the show had to be abandoned halfway through due to heavy rain, with Ross returning the next day to finish the show.

The Motown legend was celebrating her 75th birthday early at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, and her 9-year-old grandson Raif-Henok Emmanuel Kendrick got the honor of introducing her. "She has shown the whole world that nothing is beyond our reach", he said, before adding: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my grand mommy Diana Ross!". As she then walked through the crowd, she asked audience members to sing into her mic, with Will Smith's son Jaden Smith among those who obliged. Before she began singing, she said: "When I was a little girl, I felt the joy of singing". After her family-friendly introduction, Ross took the stage wearing a flowing bright red chiffon.

"Together we have no limits".

The singer - a proud mom and grandmother - was joined by her kids and grandchildren who were in the crowd to watch her "Diamond Diana" performance. And you can lead the way, learn - dream, unlock new doors. She had previously been nominated 12 times for hits like "Baby Love", "Stop in the Name of Love", "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "Ease on Down the Road" and "Endless Love", some of which came during her time with the Supremes.
