Kylie Jenner is now the youngest self-made billionaire

Kylie Jenner has been named the youngest self-made billionaire of all time by Forbes magazine, thanks to the booming cosmetics company she founded three years ago.

Kylie, however, has reportedly earned her billion dollar net worth through her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, and in doing so she's become the youngest billionaire ever at the age of 21.

She told the financial publication: "I didn't expect anything". But (the recognition) feels really good.

Forbes put 2,153 billionaires on its 2019 list, down from 2,208 in 2018, and said their total combined net worth was $8.7 trillion, down from $9.1 trillion in 2018.

Jenner, whose net worth is estimated at one billion USA dollars (£761 million), has appeared on Forbes' billionaires list for the first time, ranked at number 2,057 overall. "Khloe is strong, but she's really leaning on her family and friends during this time".

"It's the power of social media", the young billionaire said.

She added, "What I'm trying to say is I did have a platform, but none of my money is inherited".

Despite maintaining communication for their 10-month-old daughter, True, the source tells ET that the pair "aren't getting back together and Khloe knows she needs to move on".

Whilst Facebook's financial reports indicated a 30 percent increase in revenues and 61 percent increase in year-on-year earnings, 2018 was plagued with the Cambridge Analytica scandal and data breaches which placed the USA social media giant under the scrutiny of both the United States and UK governments.

"If you're going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. I'm a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn't have", she explained.
