Savage described what they have with the 52-year-old as "a very strong relationship", while Clary added, "We all are a family, all together".
"I just knew that I was never in danger", she said.
Clary then told King that her "manipulative" parents have sent "threats" to she and Kelly, saying that they will "put all [their] naked pictures all over the world" if they don't receive certain amounts of money.
"They feel that Robert has been maligned, that their own parents are lying.that interview is very eye-opening", King said.
Detroit detectives are looking into a new allegation regarding Kelly having sex with an underage girl.
"On top of that, when I was 17, my parents were actually making me, trying to get me to take photos with him, take sexual videos with him, all kinds of stuff", said Clary. "He came here to ... make some arrangements with what he had, I think it was $50,000 or $60,000 that he was willing to pay". Savage's parents have accused Kelly of kidnapping their daughter, though she says she's living with the singer of her own free will.
Clary also broke down in tears. "And as a woman, I'm sure you would not either", she spat. "You guys are believing in some fucking facade that our parents are saying".
"If you can't see that you're ignorant and you're stupid", she said. "These are decades of allegations against Robert Kelly". We're here to talk about what our parents are doing right now. The singer has denied wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty.
Savage's mother said during a Wednesday news conference that "what I saw on TV this morning about the way he acted when he got upset, I don't imagine what he does behind closed doors when he is not on camera".
"He seemed like a person who was really in trouble", Gardere said of Kelly during the interview. "These are absolute lies fabricated by R. Kelly and we have evidence to show that these claims are bogus".
The interview with Kelly was first teased Tuesday night and aired in part Wednesday morning.
Kelly was indicted again last month and charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of four women, with three of them reportedly being minors.
In a portion of the interview that aired Wednesday, Kelly alleged the young women's parents arranged for him to meet their daughters, sought money from him and threatened to ruin his career.
