Gayle King Says She Wasn't "Afraid" During Dramatic R. Kelly Interview

Good Morning America host Robin Roberts is opening up about her sit down controversial interview with Jussie Smollett regarding his alleged hate crime attack.

Watters, ultimately, apologized after being corrected, and again at the end of that episode of The Five, when he held up a small dry erase white board on which he'd written, "I'm sorry Gayle + Robin". In any event, King couldn't resist sticking it to Watters and Fox on Thursday when she appeared on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert". He ended up being arrested for filing a false police report.

"I've never met Mr. Kelly", Savage said.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this story misstated the name of the television show Dana Perino and Jesse Watters were on as "The View." .
"Yes", King said with a laugh.
Then it would have been said that Roberts had conducted a patient, nonjudgmental and satisfactorily probative interview (except by the people still determined not to believe Smollett, and there would have been some).
'I normally don't watch Fox News so I was sent this. Dana Parino corrected him, which made King email her.
The CBS This Morning anchor said she emailed Perino to thank her for the correction: "I said, 'Hi, just wanted to thank you for letting your colleague know that Robin Roberts and I, it was a great compliment, but thank you for letting him know that we're two different people". Back when the Queen of Soul died on August 16, 2018, every network on the planet was covering her death, but Fox News posted a photo of Patti LaBelle instead. "I mean, and you're just sorta yukkin" it up at McDonald's.
"I never thought that he was going to hurt me or hit me", she added.
CBS will air the interview as a one-hour primetime special on Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
