Liz Loiodice (’13)—The Women’s soccer team made a surprising run at the end of the season that landed them a spot in the Landmark Conference championship game and an ECAC championship trophy.
Early in the season, the team had trouble scoring. To remedy this problem, Coach Racine altered the offensive scheme, and most importantly, made Loiodice a starter.
The presence of Loiodice in the offense was a huge boost to the team and had a positive impact on their production. But don’t just take my word for it.
Look at the numbers yourself: Loiodice had 21 point season complete with eight goals and five assists.
What was most amazing was that, in games that Loiodice started in, the Rangers posted a record of 10-3, and in games she did not start in the team was 5-4-1. Clearly, the numbers speak for themselves.
